N Residence

A beautiful example of reduce, reuse and recycle, the structural bones of this residential garden are made from the demolition of an adjacent home too far gone to save. Historic stone foundations, woodwork, and windows were salvaged with patina intact, to become the foundations for the new sunken garden, terraces, arbor, and sheds that give structure to a now 2-acre residential landscape. In addition, the orientation of the existing home was changed, circulation improved, and layered plantings added.
